Ahlström Voyage

Ahlström Voyage
The Ahlström Voyage exhibition, located in the historic forge of Noormarkku, offers a captivating look into the 170-year history of the Ahlström company, family, and ironworks. This extensive display highlights the company's significant role in Finnish industrial, architectural, art, and design history.
Visitors can explore a remarkable collection of art glass from former Ahlström-owned glassworks like Iittala, Karhula, and Riihimäki, featuring works by renowned designers Tapio Wirkkala and Timo Sarpaneva. The exhibition also showcases unique pieces of the Savoy (Aalto) vase designed by Alvar Aalto, along with an impressive scale model of the ironworks area.
Guided tours, available to the public or by reservation, enrich the experience with storytelling. Due to the exhibition's breadth, various themed tours are offered. The venue is accessible, equipped with an elevator, and includes a museum shop. During the summer season, Café Voyage and its terrace are open to visitors.
