Located in Noormarkku, Finland, the Makkarakoski Sawmill Museum offers a rare look into more than 200 years of sawmill operations. Initially powered by water, later by steam and electricity, the sawmill reflects the evolution of industrial technology. After a fire in 1875, the current building was quickly rebuilt and remained in use until 1956. Much of the original late-19th-century machinery is still intact, giving visitors a truly authentic glimpse into the past. Guided tours are available, offering a deeper exploration of this well-preserved piece of industrial heritage.
