Havulinna
Havulinna, the second residence built for the family, was constructed between 1899 and 1901 for Walter Ahlström, the son of Eva and Antti Ahlström, and his wife Lilli (née Newander) and their family. Walter Ahlström served as the company’s CEO from 1908 to 1931.
The Jugend-style design of Havulinna was created by architect Gustaf Adolf Lindberg from the firm Grahn, Hedman & Wasastjerna. The design was inspired by an English country house that Walter Ahlström had seen during his travels in England. From the beginning, the house was intended not only as a representative family home but also as a future gathering place for the Ahlström family.
Today, Havulinna is mainly used as a representative residence for the Ahlström companies and family, but it can also host other suitable official events.
