Kultala features four air-conditioned double rooms, a lounge area, and a kitchen. The building also includes a sauna, a utility room, and a small terrace. The rooms in Kultala do not have private bathrooms; instead, there are shared bathrooms located on both floors. Kultala is well-suited for group bookings and offers a total of eight beds.
The building is one of the Ministry of Social Affairs standard house designs, created by architects Elias and Martti Paajanen. Kultala and the neighboring Kumpula were built between 1925 and 1928 and were originally designed for use by officials.
