The Partala Royal Manor is a unique place to visit near the center of Juva, in the agricultural and cultural landscape of Männynmäki. The estate is an oasis of local culture with its museum, galleries, hotel, and restaurant services, and now even more so in its renovated surroundings.
The Juvan Museum has been operating in the old main building of the Partala Manor since 1992, and now the renovated premises have three rooms for exhibitions: a permanent exhibition in two halls and one room with annually changing themes. The Juvan Museum is maintained by the municipality. The collections belong to the Juvan Local History and Museum Association and are on deposit at the museum.
The museum shop in the entrance hall offers a selection of Juvan cross jewelry, books, glasses, cards, and decorative items, among other things.
The Juvan Museum is one of the nature and cultural sites of the Saimaa UNESCO Global Geopark network and is located on the same drumlin ridge as the center of Juvan.
In summer 2025, the Juvan Museum will be open Tuesday to Saturday from June 10 to August 23, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is €4/€2, and the same ticket also grants access to the Juvan Karelian Museum, the exhibitions at Galleria Kuninkaankartano, and the Paloksen aitan exhibition.
