The painting Olga was created in 2018 and depicts the character Olga, known from the dramatized tours at the museum Ett Hem. Olga is a maid whose duties include cleaning, making beds, and serving. In the painting, she is positioned in the museum’s Kingelin Room, in front of the green Biedermeier-style sofa set. She holds a tray and wears white cotton gloves and a traditional blue maid’s day dress.

The character is based on a real person – Olga Gustavsson (b. 1882) – who worked in the service of the Jacobsson family from 1897 to 1904.
