Vanha Leppävirralta has salmon-red flowers and distinct dark zoning on its leaves. The plant has a sturdy growth habit. Little is known about this variety, other than that it is an old cultivar originating from Leppävirta in Northern Savonia. As the plant matures, its older leaves grow quite large.
