Hulda’s flowers are carmine red. Among the pelargoniums in the Natural Resources Institute’s heritage project, Hulda is exceptionally old and dates back to the same period as the aniline-red variety Carolina (L-164). This pelargonium has been known since the 1890s from Punkalaidun in the Pirkanmaa region. The flower stems are thin and long, with a red anthocyanin coloration. It produces an abundance of flowers.
