Carolina’s flowers are aniline red. Among old Finnish pelargonium varieties, Carolina is one of the oldest, known to have existed at least since the 1880s. The leaves are medium green with a distinct central zone. The flower typically has 8–9 petals, and some blooms may feature smaller petals among the larger ones. The upper petals have a white central area with clearly visible aniline red veining. The lower petals are deep red. The flower stalk is long.
