The site of the former Suvilahti power plant and gas plant comprises nine buildings, two gasometers and a yard area. The Suvilahti Cultural Centre is a home to everything from photographers to a brewery bar, a graffiti wall and gallery to a restaurant. Several theatre and circus companies also operate in the area. Suvilahti’s facilities are used by various cultural actors and it is the venue to for many major events, such as the Flow Festival.
