Three meters tall Gold Prospector Statue made of bronze was unveiled in 1993. The statue was made by sculptor Ensio Seppänen and it was gifted to the Gold Museum by Lapinkullan ystävät (Friend's of Lapland's Gold) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the museum.
