The Tyrnävä Municipal Hall was completed in 1987 as a house for the residents of the municipality. It was designed to be multifunctional, open, and easily accessible for the public.

The Municipal Hall is part of a traditional courtyard setting, and the chosen building materials reflect local building traditions. The hall was designed by architects Maija Niemelä and Pentti Myllymäki.

The old municipal hall next to the new municipal hall was originally part of the Hirvelä estate buildings. On the other side of the municipal hall is Tyrnävä’s old fire station.
