Julunkivi in Lohikoski, Sulkava, located in an old-growth forest protection area, is one of the largest glacial erratics in Finland. The boulder stands 12.5 meters high and has a circumference of nearly 60 meters.
Julunkivi makes an excellent destination for an outing thanks to the campfire site located “under” the rock. The boulder can be reached via a forest trail about 700 meters long, marked with blue dots.
The area has a campfire site and a dry toilet available for visitors.
