The trail shares its first stage with Lake Palosenjärvi trail. The route takes you to the Pahtajärvi canyon lake and Närpistö lean-to, which is a great place for a campfire snack. This intermediate trail is a good daytrip for fit hikers. It is connected to the trail towards Näkkälä Village. Start from the Fell Lapland Visitor Centre.
