Today, this originally Swedish fortress is known as Suomenlinna, a fort of Finland. A Finnish-language elementary school has been established here. Teaching is different from what it used to be. Artillery training is no longer considered so important. Reading and writing, mathematics and drawing have been taught in every century. The textbook has always been a great treasure! We play sports in the summer and winter. Now we have founded the Suomenlinna Skating Club. The skating rink is cleared on the sea ice. Today we celebrate the opening with a horn music and real fireworks. Put on your skates and join in!
