You will experience magnificent landscape from the fjord and valley to open mountain landscape. You walk through the forest, beside rivers and past lakes.

From the Vestersida centre, follow the path along the banks of the river Langdalselva/Guhkesváhjohka until you reach a post box with a book to sign your name. A few hundred metres past this post box, you may cross the Langdalselva river. From here, you continue upwards towards Borri. This section is marked but does not follow a clear path.

From here, continue down towards lake Dalvatnan/Badje- ja vuollejávri and the post box near lake Nervantnet/Vuollejávri. From lake Nervatnet, follow the Elvevollelva river downwards to the fjord about 1.5 km before crossing the river and returning to the Vestersida centre.

Alternative: The walk up the Elvevolldalen valley to lake Dalvatnan is a wonderful day trip for families with young children (1.2 – 2.8 km).
