Idyllic Atmosphere of the Past on a 19th-Century Family Farm
Lauttamäki is a beautiful, traditional venue for summer weddings and courses. Over the years, the site has received both national and regional recognition for preserving rural traditions and the cultural landscape, including the Honorary Plaque for Traditional Building Methods in 1987.
The old family farm’s 20 different 19th-century buildings have been restored for tourism use. During the summer season, there are 45 beds available.
The main celebration venue is a barn building decorated in a rural style, featuring a single, unified event space for up to 150 guests.
Visitors can view a catalogued home museum collection of more than 700 items, listed by the Central Finland Museum.
The site is located just 12 km from Kokkolantie Road (Highway 13).
