Originally from Denizli, Turkey, I have always been passionate about cities and how they function. That's why I pursued a career in city planning and earned my PhD in Urban Policy Planning. But my love for Helsinki began years before my move to Finland. During a visit to my cousin, I was captivated by the city's beauty during different seasons, and I knew I had to explore every nook and cranny of this incredible place.

So I moved to Helsinki to pursue a PhD in Urban Studies, and that's when everything changed for me. I fell even more in love with the city, and I knew I had to find a way to share my knowledge and admiration with others. That's when I founded Ataman Tours Helsinki.

My tours are not your typical crowded and pre-scripted tours. Instead, they are safe and intimate, and I always do small-group tours to ensure everyone has a personalized experience.
